Haus Auensee

The house is next to the Arena Leipzig Auensee a frequently used concert venue for national and international artists in Leipzig. The capacity is about 2500 people. The house is named after the others next to it Auensee.

History

1911 was the start of construction as the main restaurant at the Luna Park. On 5 May 1914, the final acceptance of the new house. With the bankruptcy and the foreclosure of the Luna Park on January 13, 1932 only this restaurant was left, and received in 1936 the name Haus Auensee.

After 1949, the house Auensee newly opened as HO- inn.

From 1981 to 1985, the house was rebuilt in Auensee four years of construction. The reopening took place on 5 October 1985.

In the 1990s the house Auensee was conducted under the name Easy Auensee and reopened on 13 November 1998 as a nightclub by the name of Luna Park, but there were financial problems and the object was used in receivership only sporadically for concerts. 2009, the adjoining beer garden was put back into operation. Under the new operator " MAWI Concert" find again from 2010 concerts and events in the object instead.
