Haverhill is a municipality ( Town) in the U.S. state of New Hampshire and the administrative seat of Grafton County with 4,416 residents.
Geography
Haverhill has an area of 135.8 km ², of which 132.3 km ² land and 3.5 km ² (2.59 %) water. The site is bounded to the west by the Connecticut River and drained by the Ammonoosuc River and the streams Oiverian and Clark, which lie in the catchment area of Connecticut.

History
The site has been inhabited by citizens of the same town in Massachusetts, and was first called " Lower Coos ." 1763 was the settlement into a town. 1773 Haverhill administrative seat of Grafton County.
