Hawkeye Point
At the highest point of Iowa
The 509 -meter-high Hawkeye Point is the highest point of the U.S. state of Iowa. The survey is located in Osceola County near the border with Minnesota. The entire area around Hawkeye Point is used for agriculture, not least located on its summit a grain silo. The highest point in Iowa but is also equipped with a marker and even a summit log. The hill rises just 20 meters from the surrounding areas.
