Hayabusachō

Hayabusachō (Japanese隼 町) is a district of the district of Chiyoda of Japan Tokyo Prefecture. It is located in the center of Tokyo, immediately west of the imperial residence and north of the government district Nagatacho.

According to the census of 2005, lived in Hayabusachō 0.11 km ² in total 473 residents in 352 households. The daily population was 2,031.

In the south of Hayabusachō are the Supreme Court and the attached library. To the north lie the National Theatre ( Kokuritsu Gekijo ), whose three rooms spread over two buildings, and a large hotel. In a narrow strip in the west are smaller residential and office buildings.

The Ginza Line of Tōkyō Metro passes between the Nagatacho railway stations and on the west by HANZOMON Hayabusachō. The inner ring of the Tokyo highway and the branch to Shinjuku Line No. 4 ( Miyakezaka Junction ) run in less than two kilometers long tunnel under the Chiyoda district.

Neighboring districts are Hirakawacho in the west, in the north Kojimachi, Chiyoda to the east and Nagatacho in the south.

History

The name Hayabusachō, ie " Peregrine Road " and " peregrine city ", was built in the early 17th century, when Tokugawa Ieyasu his capital to Edo, today's Tokyo moved.
