HBO Canada

HBO Canada is a Canadian television station, which draws its program of HBO in the United States. HBO Canada is not single, free -air, but only in connection of the pay- TV packages on The Movie Network and Movie Central.

On September 22, 2008, the two TV stations operators The Movie Network ( TMN ) and Movie Central ( MC) gave out a press release that the transmitters are together to offer an HBO channels in standard format and in HDTV on 30 October 2008. For the TMN subscribers, this meant that the existing channels MMore and MMore HD were replaced by HBO Canada. For the Movie Central subscribers Movie Central 4 and Movie Central 1 HD was replaced by HBO Canada.

Receptivity

HBO Canada is fed into the cable network from multiple vendors. Furthermore, the sender can be received via satellite by Bell TV and Shaw Direct.
