HC Ma'alot

Monfort Ma'alot (formerly HC Ma'alot ) is an Israeli ice hockey club from Ma'alot, which was founded in 1999 and plays in the Israeli league. The home games are played in the Canada Centre in Metulla.

History

The Hockey Association was founded in 1999 calendar year won the following year for the first time the Israeli championship. Two years later this success was repeated. In 2003, the third game championship was won. After the team further success initially remained denied in the following years, the team won the 2010 fourth Israeli championship.

In addition, the club took in the seasons 2000/ 01, 2002 /03 and 2003/ 04 participated in the edition of the IIHF Continental Cup. In the first part succeeded in a group with HK Red Star Belgrade, HK Levski Sofia and Istanbul Spor Kulübü sponsors a record of one win and two defeats. In the 2002/03 season the team lost all three games in their group. The following participation one year later was unsuccessful, the team was defeated by KHL Medveščak Zagreb and Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák with double-digit results.
