The HC Ocelari Třinec is a Czech ice hockey club from Třinec playing in the Extraliga and thus the highest professional class in the country since 1995.

History

The club was founded in 1929 as SK Třinec and plays its home games in the 5,200 -seat arena of work. Training is the team of Pavel Marek, since 1999, the club plays under the current club name.

The biggest success in club history was reaching the play-off finals in the 1997/98 season, where the first team but failed on HC Petra Vsetín. The following year, she reached the third place in the league and was thus able to build on the successes of the previous season.

In the 2010/11 season the club won the main round and awarded since 2009 Presidents Cup. In the play-offs, the team defeated in the first round of the HC Litvinov 4-2, the HC Slavia Prague 4-3 and reached the final against HC Vitkovice Steel to. In this it dominated his opponent and won the Best of Seven Series 4-1. Thus, the club reached the first title win in club history.
