HC Sierre-Anniviers

The HC Sierre ( German HC Sierre ) is a Swiss ice hockey club from Sierre, which plays in the third fünftklassigen league since 2013.

History

The club was founded in 1933 and is in the seasons 1967/68, 1984/85 and 1989/90 went up in the National League A.

After the last rise in the NLA but followed the free fall into the first league, the highest amateur league in Switzerland. Since the 1997/98 season, the HC Sierre- Anniviers plays in the National League B.

The highlight of the club's history was the Swiss runner-up title in 1973. Additional sporting successes of the club include the title of Swiss Champion NLB 1966/67, as well as the three-time runner-up title NLB 2003/ 04, 2004/ 05 and 2005/06. Between 2003 and 2011 the club was called additive Anniviers due to a cooperation with the regional tourism organization.
