HD 104985 b

HD 104985 b is an exoplanet, the yellow giant HD 104985 orbits every 199.5 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was Bunei of Sato et al. discovered in 2003.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 0.95 astronomical units and has a mass of about 2639 Earth masses, or 8.3 Jupiter masses.
