HD 122430 b

HD 122430 b is an exoplanet of the orange giant HD 122430 orbits every 345 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Johny Setiawan et al. discovered in 2003.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 1.02 astronomical units and has a mass of about 1179 Earth masses and 3.71 Jupiter masses.
