HD 128311 b

HD 128311 b is an exoplanet, of the main sequence star HD 128311 orbits every 458.6 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was from R. Paul Butler et al. discovered in 2002.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 1.1 astronomical units and has a mass of about 696.2 Earth masses and 2.19 Jupiter masses.
