HD 142022 Ab

HD 142022 Ab is an exoplanet, orbiting the main sequence star HD 142022 A, all 1928 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Anne Eggenberger et al. discovered in 2005.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 2.98 astronomical units and has a mass of about 1421 Earth masses and 4.47 Jupiter masses.
