HD 2039
HD 2039 is a star of spectral type G in the constellation Phoenix. The apparent brightness of the star is 9 mag, so the object can be made out only with telescopes. The distance of the star from the Sun is about 300 light-years. To HD 2039 a spectroscopic companion was discovered, in which there could be an exoplanet.

As part of the AAPS program ( Anglo-Australian Planet Search) a spectroscopic companion of HD 2039 was discovered which received the systematic name HD 2039 b.
