HD 41004 Ab

HD 41004 Ab is an exoplanet, orbiting the main sequence star HD 41004 A, all 963 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was from S. Zucker et al. discovered in 2004.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 1.7 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 74 percent and has a mass of about 813.8 Earth masses or 2.56 Jupiter masses.
