The star is from the exoplanet HD 45350 b orbits with a period of approximately 960 days. Established in 2005 by Marcy et al. discovered using the radial velocity method object has a minimum mass of 1.8 Jupiter masses. Its orbit has a semi-major axis of about 2 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 0.78.
