HD 50554 is an approximately 98 light years from Earth distant, sun-like star in the constellation Gemini likes with an apparent brightness of about 6.8. In 2002, Vogt et al discovered. using the radial velocity method an exoplanet candidates orbiting this star with a period of 1224 days. The object with the systematic name HD 50554 b has a minimum mass of about 5 Jupiter masses. The semi-major axis of the orbit measures about 2.3 astronomical units, their eccentricity 0.44.
