He Jin

He Jin (Chinese何 进/何 进, IPA (high Chinese) [ [ χɤ35 d̥ʑ̥in51 ] ], W.-G. Ho Chin ), style name Suigao (遂 高; * 135 in Nanyang, † September 22 189 in Luoyang ) was a general in ancient China at the time of the Han Dynasty.

His half-sister Hey, 180 went to the Empress, gave him 184, the Office of the Supreme Commander of the Imperial Army. In subsequent years, He Jin was heavily involved in the suppression of the uprising of the Yellow Turbans.

In the year 189 the Emperor Ling died in the episode He Jin fell into the power struggle against the fraction of the eunuchs. On September 22, 189 he was assassinated at the court of the victim. The events are regarded as the beginning of the Civil War, which ushered in the resolution of the central government in China.
