He Zhuoqiang

He Zhuoqiang (Chinese何 灼 强, Pinyin Hé Zhuóqiáng; born January 12, 1967 in Nanhai, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China) is a former Chinese weightlifter. He was 1987 and 1989 Vice World Champion and 1988 Olympic bronze medal winner of each flyweight.

Career

He Zhuoqiang began in 1980 in Nanhai junior sports school with the weight lifting. In 1981, he joined the provincial team of Guangdong and took admission in 1986 in the Chinese national team of weightlifters. He was trained by Li Shen. At a size of only 1.50 meters, he started doing as an adult always flyweight (then to 52 kg body weight).

In 1985 he won at the Chinese National Games of the juniors and in the same year even Chinese master of seniors, each flyweight. In 1986 he was winner of the Asian Games in Seoul. In 1989 he was posted behind the Bulgarians Ivan Ivanov, 272.5 kg ( 117.5 to 155 ) in Athens flyweight with a duel capacity of 262.5 kg ( 117.5 to 145 ) again runners-up and in later years was exposed both as a player and as a coach as a doper. 1990 He Zhuoqiang in Beijing then again winner in the Asian Games before his compatriot Zhang Shoulie and Kim muon -Sik from North Korea.
