Kiss ' me, John ( Original Title: Hearts Afire ) is an American sitcom that aired between 1992 and 1995 when CBS. The film starred John Ritter and Markie Post. In Germany, the series was also under the titles kisses Daddy Who? and public affairs broadcast.
Action
John Hartman works in Washington, D.C. as an assistant to U.S. Senator Strobe Smithers and is married to his press officer Georgie Ann Lahti. John and Georgie live in her apartment along with Georgie from jail dismissed father and her former nanny, as well as John's two sons from his first marriage. In addition to the resulting complications at home keep the senator and his secretary, who is his lover at the same time, the couple on their toes. In the second season of the series, the couple moves to a small town where he runs his own newspaper.
Background
All three seasons of the series have been released in the U.S. on DVD. The original title is based on a line of text of the title That's The Way Of The World the band Earth, Wind and Fire, which was also used as the theme song. Among the writers of the series included the actor Thom Bray.
