Heath Pearce

Heath Pearce ( born August 13, 1984 in Modesto, California) is an American football player.

Club career

Pearce played college football at the University of Portland (62 games, 8 goals). Besides, he also played for Bradenton Academics in the USL Premier Development League.

He is a fast, technically fogged defender. In 2005 he moved to Denmark, where he was a regular player at FC Nordsjælland and 75 games played.

In July 2007, he completed a trial with Bundesliga - promoted Hansa Rostock, who then signed him. He received a two- year contract and after Paul Caligiuri was the second American in the history of the Rostock team. On the opening day he gave the away match in Munich his debut for Hansa and in the Bundesliga and completed before the winter break and two ten Bundesliga DFB Cup games. In January 2008, he was retired temporarily from coach Frank Pagelsdorf, but was still a member of the squad at the Rostock Bundesliga and ran from March 2008 again for the FC Hansa, with which he descended to the end of the season in the 2nd Bundesliga. September 2, 2009 Pearce signed a contract with the Turkish first division side Bursaspor, but only hours later due to the expired registration period with the Turkish Football Federation lost its validity. He then signed a contract with the American MLS club FC Dallas

In February 2011, Heath Pearce then moved to California football club CD Chivas USA, which plays in the Western Conference of the MLS. There he was employed on the position of the left full-back.

In May 2012, he moved to the Eastern Conference to New York Red Bulls.

National

Since 2005, Pearce played 35 A- international matches for the USA. His first game he made in November 2005 against Scotland. For the World Cup 2006, he was not considered, but took in the summer of 2007 participated in the Copa América, where he completed his seventh against Colombia international match. At the Second place in the national team in the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup in South Africa Pearce was also part of the squad, but did not play.
