Heavenly Mountain Resort

The Heavenly Mountain Resort, also known as Heavenly Valley is a ski resort in the United States at the border of the states of California and Nevada. It is in the Carson Range, an eastern part of the Sierra Nevada, on the south shore of Lake Tahoe to the east of the city of South Lake Tahoe.

Heavenly Valley to 1986, was repeatedly the scene of World Cup ski races. In 1997, the ISF Snowboard World Championships took place here.
