Geographical Location

History

Hebertsfelden was notarized by 1073 for the first time, as a Adalprecht de Heriboldesfelden signed as a benefactor. In the period 1220-1240 the diocese of Freising testified possessions in the place. In the 17th and 18th centuries Hebertsfelden consisted of around 20 properties. At the beginning of the 19th century there was a separate municipality.

Incorporations

On 1 January 1946 Hebertsfelden received parts of the municipalities Langeneck and Gern II, but already with effect from 1 January 1948, the merger was reversed. Only by the local government reform in Bavaria was on 1 January 1972 by the Towns Linden, House of Bach and the remnants of communities Langeneck and Gern II and the integration of parts of the dissolved municipalities Lohbruck and Peterskirchen connection ( to 29 January 1952, the community name Peterskirchen I) formed the current municipality on 1 May 1978.

Economy and infrastructure
