Hebrew Communists

Komunistim Ivrim (Hebrew קומוניסטים עברים, lit. Hebrew Communists ) was a political party in Palestine. It was founded in 1945 by members of the Communist Party of Palestine, shortly PKP ( jidd. פאלעסטינישע קומוניסטישע פרטיי ) who in 1943 left the PKP. The party lasted until the founding of Israel in 1948, when it rose in the Communist Party of Israel ( Maki ). However, after Eliezer Preminger in 1949 left the Maki, the party was re-established on 8 June 1949. It was finally resolved when Preminger on August 15, 1949 joined the Mapam.
