Hec Edmundson

Clarence Sinclair " Hec " Edmundson ( born August 3, 1886 in Moscow, Idaho; † August 6, 1964 in Seattle ) was an American sprinter, middle-distance runner and basketball coach.

In 1909 he was U.S. champion over 880 yards.

At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 he reached the semi-finals in the 400m and was about 800 m seventh.

As a basketball coach, he worked from 1916 to 1918 at his alma mater, the University of Idaho, and from 1920 to 1947 at the University of Washington.
