Hecheng District

The municipality Hecheng (鹤 城区) is a municipality in the west of Hunan Province. He belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Huaihua and is the center and seat of the city government of Huaihua. The municipality has an area of 729 km ² and has about 330,000 inhabitants (2003 ). It is located on the middle reaches of the river Yuan Shui (沅水).
