Hechuan District

Hechuan (合川 区) is a district of southwest China's Chongqing Municipality. Hechuan has an area of ​​2356 km ² and about 1.5 million inhabitants ( end of 2004). The license plate of Hechuan is渝C (together with Yongchuan, Jiangjin, Tongnan, Tongliang, Bishan, Dazu, Rongchang and QIJIANG ). In Hechuan a smaller Chinese dialect is spoken.
