Hedley Mattingly

Hedley Mattingly ( born May 7, 1915 in London, † 3 March 1998 in Encino, California ) was a British actor who was known in Germany in particular through its participation in the television series Daktari.

Life

During the Second World War Mattingly served in the Royal Air Force. In the early 1950s he and his wife emigrated to Canada. At the end of the decade, he began to work as an actor. His focus was life on television, interrupted by only a few film appearances. In 1963 he had in what this woman so all drives his first major appearance by a theatrical production. Between 1966 and 1969 he took over the role of the District Officer Hedley in the series Daktari. Up to and including 1996 Mattingly was seen in film productions.
