The University of Hedmark (Norwegian: Høgskolen i Hedmark ) - briefly HH - is a public university in the Norwegian cities Hamar and Elverum ( Hedmark ), with approximately 3700 students and 400 employees (2006).

The university was founded in Hedmark on 1 August 1994 and is divided into five faculties; Rector of the university is Yngve Haugstveit.
