Hedy Bienenfeld

Hertha ( Hedy ) Bee Field Wertheimer ( born October 17, 1907 † 1976) was one of the most famous swimmers in SC Hakoah Vienna.

Hedy bees field has long been the strongest swimmer breast Austria and won numerous championship titles. Their best performance in the 100m breast Austrian held from 1935 to 1956. You won at competitions in Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary and the first two Maccabiaden. In 1927 they won and their fellow club Fritzi Lowy and Idy Kohn at the European Swimming Championships in Bologna several medals. She was a participant in the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam.

It was not until 73 years later, at the 2000 European Championships in Helsinki, succeeded the 22 - year-old Austrian Maxim Podoprigora, like bees field, Kohn and Lowy is of Jewish descent, again to win a swimming medal for Austria.
