Heeseberg

In the Samtgemeinde Heeseberg from the Lower Saxony district of Helmstedt, six communities have joined together to do their administrative business.

Policy

After the resignation of Samtgemeinde Mayor Lutz Winter on October 1, 2012, the administration is led by his general representative Mark Henry Spindler. Based on the resolution of the Samtgemeinde Council to start merger talks with the member municipalities, shall be waived ( to a maximum of 2014) to a new election of the mayor Samtgemeinde currently.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on August 8, 1978 by the county.

The Adonis, a rare flower in nature and even more rare in heraldry, but still growing, for on a green hill, the crest of the velvet municipality. The silver tower represents the Heeseberg tower, can wander from the view of the whole area of the integrated municipality.

The Samtgemeinderat took this coat of arms on 4 April 1978.
