Hefeng County

The circle Hefeng (Ch鹤峰 县; pinyin: hefeng Xiàn ) is a district in the Autonomous Prefecture of Enshi Tujia and Miao ( Enshi Tujiazu Miaozu zizhizhou ) in southwest China's Hubei province. It has an area of 2892 km ² and 220,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Rongmei (容 美 镇).

The Tusi ( " chieftain ") sites of Rongmei ( Rongmei tusi Yizhi容 美 土司 遗址) and the revolutionary site of Wuliping ( Wuliping Geming Jiuzhi五里 坪 革命 旧址) for the year 1931 are available since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.
