Heidekamp

Heidekamp ( Low German Heidkamp ) is a municipality in the extreme north of the district Stormarn in Schleswig -Holstein.

Geography

Heidekamp is Reinfeld on the Heilsau.

History

Heidekamp, originally a Slavic settlement was first mentioned in 1352. It belonged to the monastery Reinfeld. After this had been dissolved during the Reformation, the place came to the ruler's office Reinfeld.

1654 Heidekamp was laid down and converted into an estate. With the abolition of serfdom in 1743, the village was re-formed as Parzellistengemeinde. After the annexation of Schleswig-Holstein by Prussia, the town was incorporated in 1867 in the newly founded Stormarn and came as a rural community with the introduction of the Prussian municipal constitution in 1889 for the district of Neuhof.

By bombed Oldesloer and the settlement of expellees, the population doubled after the war 318. 1948 was Heidekamp Member of the Office Reinfeld country. The Water Procurement Association Reinfeld country joined the 1960. In 1967 he was one of the founders of the School Association Reinfeld. Since the municipal reorganization in 1972 Heidekamp belongs to the Official North Stormarn.
