Heidenauer SV

The Heidenauer SV is a German sports club based in the district of Heidenau Saxon Switzerland & Eastern Ore Mountains.

The club was founded in 1948 as BSG Motor Heidenau. After the turn of the club was renamed to HSV and SSV. In the seasons 1995/96 and 1998/ 99, the first men's team (soccer ) reached the district championship and rose to the national league in Saxony. Second place was achieved in the 2011/12 season, making the club rose to the Oberliga Nordost.

In women's soccer team reached the qualification for the DFB-Pokal 2011/12 through the finals of the Saxon Cup 2010/11.

In fistball the höchstklassige team is the first men's team. In the hall, took the team between 1999/2000 and 2008/ 09 participated in the 2nd Bundesliga, before the crew at the starting from the season 2009/10 - participates Oberliga Saxony - third-rate. History

The construction of the sports stadium took place from 1923 to 1925 and had two years later, are completely rebuilt following a devastating flood, which has wiped out everything. The Heidenauer sports club was founded as a " BSG Motor Heidenau " on 16 September 1951. The newly emerged sport community now counted 500 members and consisted of 15 sections. Most indoor sports changed after the turn of the SSV. 1995/1996, the first football team won the district championship for the first time and got so into the game series 1996/1997 into the national league. However, the level of skill was not enough for the national league and you rose again. Nevertheless, they managed the impossible 1999/2000 and again played national league to the next series again in the district league dismount.
