Heidi Weng

Heidi Weng ( born July 20, 1991 Enebakk ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier. It starts on the Oslo club IL i BUL.

Her debut in the World Cup was Weng on November 21, 2009 in Beitostølen, where it was 39 over 10 kilometers and finished 10th in the relay. Her best individual World Cup result, they reached on March 18, 2012 in Falun with the 2nd place over 25 kilometers.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme, it reached Skiathlon in 3rd place and won the title with the Norwegian season. On the last day of the 8th edition of the Tour de Ski, she pushed from the 6th to 3rd place before and with that came the first time at this event on the podium.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014, she won her first Olympic medal in the opening competition in Skiathlon with bronze.
