Heike Tischler

Heike Tischler, married Weissenberg, ( born February 4, 1964 in Saalfeld / Saale ) is a retired German heptathlete

She reached in the GDR championships in 1987 to third place. 1988 and 1990 it was DDR Champion. At the European Championships in 1990 she won in Split behind Sabine Braun with a personal best the silver medal ( 6572 Points: 14.08 s - 1.82 m - 13.73 m - 24.29 s - 6.22 m - 53.24 m - 2:05,50 min). At the World Championships in 1991, she gave up.

Heike Tischler belonged to the SC Motor Jena and the SC Neubrandenburg. The skilled precision engineer was 1.75 m tall and 64 kg in their competition time. In the becoming public knowledge after the fall of documents to the state doping in the GDR was found in the doped athletes also the name of a carpenter.
