Heilenbach

Heilbach is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Bitburg -Land.

Geography

The municipality is situated approximately 10 km north- west of Bitburg on the ridge between Nimstal and Ehlenzbachtal. In the west and north of the parish are extensive forests extend. History

Even in the Celtic period Heilbach was settled, which reflects, among other things, a ring wall on the Hardt mountains.
