Heima ( Isl " home " ) is a musical documentary of the Icelandic band Sigur Rós. He celebrated on 27 September 2007 at the Reykjavík International Film Festival premiere and appeared in early November 2007 on DVD.

Content
The documentary shows the band during their mini tour of eight free, unannounced concerts at various places around Iceland, which took place in late July or early August 2006. The film combines live recordings of this band with images of Icelandic nature and population. Between the individual pieces of interviews with the band members and guest musicians as well as archive recordings were partially embedded.
Most of the pieces are only alluded to in the film, but are completely contained on a second DVD. Six of the pieces have also been published on the double EP Hvarf home.

The concert in Reykjavík was, according to police, attended by about 30,000 spectators, which would correspond to almost 10% of Iceland's population.
In the film, also a shot of a small acoustic session is used in Borg on 22 April 2007.
Reception
The film was reviewed very positively by the press. For example, says the Observer of one of the " 10 best concert recordings of all time " and the Q magazine from a " reinvention of the rock film ".
Heima was awarded Gold status in Canada for 5,000 units sold.
