Heimbach (Nahe)

Heimbach is a municipality in the district of Birkenfeld, in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the community of Baumholder.

Geography

The municipality is located in Heimbach Westrich at the same Heimbach in the valley of the Nahe between the town of Idar -Oberstein, the town of Baumholder and the county town of Birkenfeld.

Adjacent local churches include Hoppstädten- Weiersbach in the West, Nohen in the north, the east and Ruschberg Berglangenbach in the south.

Economy and infrastructure

In Heimbach there is a kindergarten and until 1971 there was a Catholic elementary school and a Protestant school in which one could reach the secondary school ninth grade. The Catholic elementary school was then converted into a pure primary school and the Protestant school is completely omitted.
