Heimo pipes Berger ( born December 29, 1966 in Cedar House, Salzburg ) is a retired Austrian football player and current football coach. Currently he trains the crew of the SC Wiener Neustadt in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Association

Pipes Berger began his career in the youth of the UPS cedar house. In 1987, he made ​​56 league goals for the lower house club attention and so brought him to the former SV Austria Salzburg coach Hannes Winklbauer in the state capital. For the Austrian national football team he made his debut on 23 August 1989 in the match against Iceland. He was able to score his first goal for Austria in fief stadium in Salzburg. He took part in Italy and 1998 in France at the FIFA World Cup 1990. While he did not play in Italy, he was allowed to complete all three group matches against Cameroon, Chile and Italy in France. His last game for Austria, he played on 19 August 1998, at Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadium against the reigning soccer world champions France.

Coaching career

After his career end pipes Berger put a year break and was then from 2005 to 2007 as a youth coordinator at FC Red Bull Salzburg active. For the 2007 /08 season he was appointed as coach of SV Grödig. With the Grödigern it on first attempt promotion to the First League, but was replaced the following season after moderate success of Miroslav Bojceski.
