Heini Walter

Heini Walter ( born July 28, 1927 in Alpthal; † 12 May 2009) was a Swiss racing driver.

Heini Walter was an amateur racing driver who drove mountain and circuit races in a Porsche RSK in the late 1950s. Occasionally he took up with a MBM race car for the Swiss team Écurie HOBA. In 1961, Walter Hill-Climb Champion.

His only use in a Formula 1 single-seater had Walter in 1962. During the Grand Prix of Germany at the Nürburgring he drove a Porsche 718 of the Swiss Scuderia Filipinetti. The goal was Walter a lap down on the winner Graham Hill on BRM and was 14
