Heinitzburg

The Heinitzburg, ( historically actually Heynitzburg ), one of the three castles in Windhoek luxury hill ( Namibia), the architect Wilhelm Sander built in 1914, initially for himself, but sold it in 1916 to Hans Bogislav Graf von Schwerin, of this system then after the family of his wife " Heynitzburg " called.

The castle shows a typical castle structures: twisted staircase, lead windows, battlements and a medieval optics and a wide view of Windhoek.

The Heinitzburg is now a luxury hotel and a restaurant and is a member of Relais & Chateaux, an international association of individually -owned luxury hotels.
