Heinrich Adam

Adam Heinrich ( born March 27, 1787 Nördlingen, † February 15, 1862 in Munich) was a German engraver and landscape painter.

Life

After a confectioner teaching Heinrich Adam went to Augsburg in 1808 at the Art Academy, where he was trained as an eraser. Apart from our own work, he erased images of his brother Albrecht and Old Master paintings, preferably Dutch painting. During his first stay at Lake Como in 1811, he also turned to watercolor painting, later to oil painting. New study trips to northern Italy followed in the years 1813, 1819, 1821 and 1851. Them on Heinrich Adam drawings and sketches made ​​, which he represented in his landscape paintings.
