Heinrich Keimig

Heinrich germinated ( born June 12, 1913 in Leiselheim; † January 15, 1966 in Offenbach am Main ) was a German handball player.

Germinated first played at the Police -SV Darmstadt, later at the police -SV Magdeburg, in the Turngemeinde 1846 Worms and at SG Dietz Bach. With the police -SV Darmstadt he was champion in 1934 German field handball.

He denied during his sporting career two caps for the German men's national handball team. As a second goalkeeper behind Heinz Koervers he was at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin with the German national handball team Olympic champion.

During World War II, he was seriously wounded in September 1941 in North Africa as a sergeant and was taken prisoner, from which he returned in 1949.

Heinrich germinated was a member of the Turnverein 1863 eV Worms Leiselheim. In his honor, the handball section of the TV Leiselheim gives the Heinrich- germinated Medal to deserving handball players and handball players. This medal is the highest award of the Turnverein 1863 eV Worms Leiselheim.
