Heinz Knüwe

Heinz Knüwe ( born January 16, 1956) is a former German football player and football coach.

Stations as a player

The home club of Heinz Knüwe was the SV Westphalia Liesborn 21, in which he played from 1964 to 1974 in the youth field. In the period 1972 to 1974, he played in the A- League Youth Westphalia at VfL Geseke. In the season 1974/1975 he was in the squad of TSV 1860 Munich, who was playing in the 2nd Bundesliga. 1975/1976 he played in the national league for Borussia Lippstadt. This was followed from 1976 to 1978 59 missions and six goals in the 2nd Bundesliga for the SC Herford. With this club he spent after descending the football league season 1978 / 1979. But in 1979 he succeeded then the change in the 1st Bundesliga for VfL Bochum, where he played first class until 1986. He scored seven goals in 197 missions. In the season 1986/1987 he moved to second division club Hannover 96, came to 33 appearances and scored one goal. His last active time he played from 1988 to 1990 in the Oberliga SC Verl, where he also served as player-manager since 1989.
