Heinz Kuttin

Heinz Kuttin (born 5 January 1971 in alleys, Carinthia ) is a former Austrian ski jumper and was until 2008 Trainer of the B- squad of the German national ski jumping and base manager in Oberhof. He is a member of the SV Villach.

Career

Kuttin reached already in his World Cup debut in 1987 as a 16 -year-old eighth. Shortly after, he won his first 1988 World Junior Champion title. His five titles at Junior World Championships are unmatched to this day. Followed in 1991 with the double world champion title in Predazzo his career peak, shortly after he won his first World Cup competition in Trondheim. His career was repeatedly affected by injuries, so he ended his active career in 1995 and ran until mid-2002, the Nordic ski center - the Villach Alpine Arena - in Villach. In the season 2002/ 03 he was with Stefan Horngacher assistant coach for the Austrian national team under head coach Hannu Lepisto. From the spring of 2003, he was chief responsibility for coach of the Polish B- squad. Between 2004 and 2006, coached Kuttin the Polish national team. He currently works as a base coach in Villach for the Austrian Ski Federation.

Achievements

  • Bronze medal at the Olympic Games in 1994 in Lillehammer in the team with Andreas Goldberger, Christian Moser and Stefan Horngacher
  • Bronze medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Courchevel on the large hill and a silver medal with the team
  • Bronze medal at the World Championships 1989 in Lahti ( normal hill )
  • Bronze medal at the World Championships in 1993 in Falun in the team with Andreas Goldberger, Ernst Vettori and Stefan Horngacher
  • 3- times Austrian Champion
