Heinz Richter (engineer)

Heinz Richter ( born November 2, 1909 in Gehrden, † May 14, 1971 ) was a German engineer and author.

Life

He has authored several technical craft books that have been published especially for the young should arouse interest of Electrical Engineering and from the late 1940s.

Heinz Richter graduated in Electrical Engineering in 1932 as engineer. He then worked at the Research Institute for aeronautical radio with Professor Max Dieckmann. As a development engineer and group leader, he filed several new patent applications. After 1945, Heinz Richter operated as a freelance writer and editor. For the trade magazine radio show he wrote for several decades numerous articles. Together with Hanns Günther, he published several books on radio engineering and electronics at the Franckh'schen Verlagshandlung. His revised edition of the book Electrical Engineering for boys and especially radio Crafts for boys were great successes. In a short time many new editions appear.

From the late fifties, he designed which also published the publisher Franckh - Kosmos Kosmos Radio and electronic experiment kits, starting with the series radio electronics, and finally, as one of his late works the multi-part teaching modular system cosmos electronics laboratory X.
