Heinz Stickel

Heinz Stickel ( born May 9, 1949) is a former German football player.

In the summer of 1970 he became a 21 -year-old from SV 03 Tübingen SV Göppingen. From there we went to the Spvgg 07 Ludwigsburg and 1973 Stickel moved from there to VfB Stuttgart. However, when the club relegated two years later to the 2nd Bundesliga, he moved to the 1 FC Kaiserslautern, where he played for three years. He then moved to the NASL to San Diego. In the season 1979/80 he returned to Germany for SV Röchling Völklingen to the 2nd Bundesliga Süd. After the descent, he moved to Holstein Kiel in the 2nd Bundesliga Nord.

Overall Stickel denied 132 Bundesliga matches in which he scored 24 goals. He had his greatest success in 1976 when he reached the final with Kaiserslautern in the DFB Cup.

In the meantime, he served as editor of "Sports Report", a magazine that appears in the Göppingen environment. In the early 1990s he was a short time as a coach at SV Göppingen active.
