Heiteren

Revels is a commune with 972 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the canton of Neuf- Brisach Communauté de communes and du Pays de Brisach.

Geography

The community Heiteren is the Upper Rhine Plain, approximately 20 kilometers southeast of Colmar and seven kilometers southwest of Breisach am Rhein. The municipal area extends west to the old northern arm of the Rhine- Rhône canal and to the east a few hundred meters to the parallel to the Rhine running side of the Rhine Channel. To Heiteren the district Thierhurst heard on the border with southern neighbor Nambsheim community.
