Helen Cresswell

Helen Cresswell ( born July 11, 1934 in Nottingham, † 26 September 2005 Eakring / Nottinghamshire ) was a British best-selling author.

Life

Helen Cresswell visited the Nottingham Girls High School and later the King's College London, where she studied English literature and graduated in 1955 with a Bachelor. Cresswell wrote books since she was six years old and had published during their lifetime more than 120 books. Including " Lizzie Dripping", "The Bagthorpe Saga ", " Moondial " ( filmed by the BBC, German title " Minty and the Moon Watch " ), "The Piemakers " and "The Bongleweed and Stone Struck ".
