Helen Hunt Jackson

Helen Hunt Jackson ( born October 18, 1831 in Amherst, Massachusetts as Helen Maria Fiske, † August 12 1885 in San Francisco, California ) was an American author. She used the pseudonym H.H.H. also

She is known for her books A Century of Dishonor and Ramona, who deal with the situation of the Indians in the United States. A Century of Dishonor is considered the first non-fiction book, which questioned the Indian policy of the United States critically. In Ramona Jackson has their impressions processed belletristic.
